چکیده
Temperature is an important abiotic factor influencing growth, development, metabolic performance and sex determination of aquatic organisms. The present study was conducted to test the effect six different temperature levels (24?, 26?, 28? as control, 30?, 32? 34?) on physiological (growth, developmental durations, survivability, ratios O2 consumption) genetic (changes in expression pattern seven candidate genes: three male determining genes, female genes a single thermal stress response gene) aspects black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) larvae. treatments significantly altered growth individuals (P < 0.05) with highest obtained at 32?, moderate were 28?30? lowest remaining temperatures. shortened larval durations 28?, 30? (required 44–46 days for differentiation) while 52–63 required 24?, 26? 34?. also experimental P. monodon individuals; higher proportions males (coupled genes) lower temperatures (24? 26?) larger females (with (30?, 34?). gene, heat shock protein (HSP70) showed constant but other Results imply that can increase produce turn help improve aquaculture production.

Stress-induced gene expression profiling in the black tiger shrimp Penaeus monodon.
Cultured shrimp are continuously exposed to variable environmental conditions that have been associated with stress and subsequent outbreaks of disease. To investigate the effect of environmental stress on Penaeus monodon gene expression, a 3,853 random cDNA microarray chip was generated with clones originating from six stress-enriched hemocyte libraries generated by suppression subtractive hyb...
متن کاملMolecular cloning and expression analysis of MAT1 gene in black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon).
MAT1 (ménage à trois 1), an assembly factor and targeting subunit of the CDK-dependent kinase (CAK), can regulate the cell cycle, transcription, and DNA repair. This study was intended to investigate the role of MAT1 in the reproductive maturation of black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon). In this study, the P. monodon MAT1 (PmMAT1) gene was identified and characterized. The full-length cDNA of P...

متن کاملCharacterization and expression analysis of a cyclin B gene from black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon).
The open reading frame of black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) cyclin B (Pmcyclin B) was identified, based on cDNA sequence registered in GenBank (accession No. EF015590). The target sequence was 1206 bp, corresponding to 401 amino acids. Two conserved signature sequences of the cyclin B gene family were found in the Pmcyclin B deduced aa sequence. Temporal expression of Pmcyclin B in different...
